This stunningly beautiful and historic building in the Borough of Harrogate is the perfect setting for brides and grooms seeking that wow factor from their wedding planning.

About The Show & Venue

Have you dreamt of a fairytale Wedding in a Castle to your knight in shining armour?

If you have then I suspect our next scheduled wedding fayre at Allerton Castle in North Yorkshire on Sunday 26th October 2025 could be the show for you!

The venue itself is a magical location where you can bring your friends and relatives together in the stunning setting of a Gothic revival stately home to celebrate your special day.

From the picturesque backdrop of the beautiful gardens, to the opulent staircase in the Great Hall, this enchanting castle is a dreamy setting for a couple to tie the knot.

Keep it simple with an intimate gathering or take advantage of the grounds and facilities for a larger wedding.

As ever we will have the best wedding suppliers around in attendance with 40 booked in to help you plan your big day whether it is at the Castle itself or somewhere else.

Admission on the day is free but we do ask all visitors to pre-book their tickets in advance to assist with planning.

Provisional Wedding Fayre Return Date Set

The UK Wedding Event is delighted to have provisionally set a show return date for Sunday 6th September at Burn Hall York.

This intimate wedding fayre will be a strictly ticket only affair with all visitors set to follow a one way system to ensure social distancing regulations are followed at all times.

Tickets and stands can be booked as usual via our website.

The show must go on

In the words of Queen and Freddie Mercury the show must go on even if it is set to be a winter wedding wonderland!
Despite the poor weather conditions overnight, the roads are clear and our flagship show at York Racecourse will be taking place as planned.
